About the Estate:

Although the actual castle dates from 1740 the Estate of Château de Saint Martin has a very ancient history that dates back to 3000 B.C.

80 kilometres away from nice right in the heart of the Provence region, over a 200 hectares estate Château Saint Martin cultivates 100 hectares of vine in the AOC Côtes de Provence.

The terroir of Chateau de Saint-Martin is one of the most unique and well suited to vine growing in France. At the confluence of two geological areas, the massif des Maures and the Triasique plateau, the vineyard of Château de Saint Martin is planted in clay and limestone soils and calcareous terrains.

This most unique terroir transmit to its wine its unicity, authenticity and character.

Château de Saint Martin produces white wines from Ugni Blanc, Clairette and Rolle varieties and red as well as rose wines from Tibouraine, Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan, Mourvedre and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties.

The cellar where Château de Saint Martin lays down its wines to rest was built by the Saint Victor monks in the 12th century. This most remarkable roman architectural achievement shelters the most cherished treasures of the château: its internationally acclaimed wines.
